Christmas Duds..

I love to pick out a beautiful new dress for my girls to have for a Christmas dress. If you know my girls, they love dresses. They love sparkly and they love a little poof, so I snatched these up when I saw them! Of course, then you have to dress up the boy too and I thought this combo was pretty cute. Unfortunately, Cason was asleep when the girls got dressed, so we'll have to get a picture all together next week. Good thing my kids love to pose for the camera!

On Wednesday was Raeley's school Christmas Concert. Crystal was great and watched Mya and Cason for us so we got to just sit and enjoy the show. Raeley was in the choir (blue gown) as well as singing with her class. They sang "Santa is Magic", thus the wands. I could see her singing her heart out and she had been practicing at home, so I know she knew the songs well!

We also went to see Santa this weekend. I like to take them because they ask that you donate a toy to the Santa Claus Fund to visit Santa. It is a great teaching moment I think for the kids. I take them and let pick out a toy they would like and know a kid their age would like, that they can give away. Mya is a little young still, but this year it hit Raeley a little harder. She picked out something that she really liked and was kind of upset she had to give it away. So we had a talk about why we have Christmas and it would make her feel really good to give it away and all that good stuff. They did great, dropped them in the bin to be given away! (no tears)
It was a fun week, and we can't wait for Christmas and to have fun with all of our family!

New Haircolor

So, I get a little bored with my hair sometimes. I change the color to switch it up without having to drastically cut it or anything, it's fun. You can see I got rid of the blonde and went hot pink, and you can sort of tell but not great in this picture that there is a layer of dark purple underneath it. I do love purple. Had to post the picture so you could see it before it fades, the downfall of color!

Events of the week

Surprisingly, it has been an eventful week. Here's some pics to share some of our fun with you...
Last night, Raley finally lost the tooth she has been waiting on. She was very excited to put it under her pillow as she has forgotten with every other tooth, and even mor excited this morning to see that the tooth fairy actually came.

Wednesday was Mya's preschool christmas party, and it was quite the event. There were bouncy castles, crafts, cookie decorating, and a magaic show to round out the evening, the kids had a great time! Of course, the kids performed a few songs. Believe it or not, this is about the best shot I could get, it was ridiculous how the parents gathered in front of the kids! I just wanted to sit in my seat and enjoy the songs and snap a couple pictures, but I never would have even seen Mya, let alone get a picture. Oh well, she did a great job singing

Friday, Raeley had her last indoor soccer game. She wasn't as aggressive as she has been in the past, but she seemed to enjoy herself. She did complain of being tired a lot, as the field was larger than the one she played on for outdoor soccer.

Scott riding his pit-bike in the snow, now that's dedication!

It's beginning to look like Christmas

The kids are VERY excited for Christmas this year. They wanted to decorate so badly, so Monday night we put up the tree. Our tree is pre-lit, I did the garland, and then let them have creative control. They did good, we had to steer them away from a huge cluster of ornaments once or twice, but it turned out beautifully.

They were so proud.

And then Scott told them to act goofy for the camera, not too difficult a request!
