Family

What a handsome family we are! Not too bad for that many people, all looking and smiling. Not sure why the edge of Payton and Mac look blurry in the first one...sorry.  If you're wondering, yes, Clay looks that mad in all of the pictures! So great to be all together and have some fun over Christmas guys.

Family Pic Session

Ok, I have about a million pics that I like from our latest family photo session.  I was trying to be fancy and create a slide show so as not to have to post a ton of pictures, this was not working like I wanted it to!  So, I tried to narrow it down to my most favorites to share with you.  Enjoy!

A birthday and Easter

This little boy was so happy to have a birthday! 2 years old already! And you can tell, but that's a different story. We'll focus today on how excited he was to get a scooter. He was jumping up and down and laughing as his sisters (helped) unwrapped it. He has been riding his sister's for months now, I know he's like amazing. He's such a boy, definitely is his daddy's son. He loves all things with wheels and really, anything boy, thus the planes as well. On a side note, we had our first family trip to the race track on the weekend and he is pretty sure that he should be able to hop on Raeley's dirt bike and ride it by himself. If he was big enough to hold it up, he would. Raeley actually rode the whole time we were there and is doing great. Mya has a little quad to ride this year and after lessons from dad, was off on her own and loving it. Back to the birthday...It was a lot of fun to see Cason so excited, he really shows his emotion and that's fun. You'll notice the scooter has pink wheels and details, oops, you'll also notice the picture on the box has BLUE wheels and things. Rude. But he doesn't care, he'll ride it anyway.

Easter was a success, the kids enjoyed the annual easter egg hunt at Grandma Walburger's. Lots of eggs to be had! Of course, the Easter Bunny came (even if it was a day late 'cause someone forgot to bring the treats on the weekend trip but the kids didn't seem to mind at all) and brought lots of yummy treats. Grandma Scott also had a hunt and she flew kites with the girls. They loved it and want their own kites now.

Baptism Day!

Our little Raeley has turned 8! My how time flies. On February 25th, she got baptised by her dad and it was an exciting day. She was a little nervous, but everything went wonderfully of course. She was able to share the day with lots of friends and family and we are very proud of her. She picked out the beautiful white dress in the second picture to have as her new baptism dress.

The Elf on the Shelf...

Don't know if you've ever heard of this book/toy, I saw it on the world wide web...anyway...I believe you buy the book, which comes with a stuffed elf. The gist of the story is that it is a "magic elf" that Santa has sent to spy on the children in your house to report back to Santa on whether they are good or bad. While in your house, the elf may get in to his own mischief and be found doing funny things when the kids find him in the mornings. He then returns to the North Pole with Santa on Christmas Eve. Sounds cute and kind of fun right? At least all of the people online raved about this wonderful tradition they do with their children and how much fun they have. So, you may notice my elf looks much like the elf from "Rudolph", which it is. I bought my own elf and devised a letter from Santa introducing him (much cheaper than the book). He arrived on the doorstep tonight. Apparantly, my kids are much more gullible than I thought (or they really really do believe in Santa)! They are terrified. Raeley actually just seems genuinely concerned, and can the elf see if she is good at school? Mya told Scott that she doesn't like the elf, he will put her on the naughty list. I honestly thought they would think he was a fun friend. I'm not sure whether to get rid of the elf or relish the next 2 weeks of (hopefully) very-welled-behaved children!!

Happy Halloween

Another successful Halloween. Here's the carving...

That's Kitty and Dracula.

The dress-up and trick-or-treating....

You may notice that there is no pics of Cason, he was quite grumpy when getting ready to go out trick-or-treating, so that wasn't happening. I'll have to put his costume on and take a pic in the next few days. He did enjoy going around to all the houses and getting candy though. Scott and I had a party to go to again this year and had a great time.
